The Process

What to Expect

From the moment you arrive at Grand RoyalCare Medical, our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and reassured. To help put you at ease, we’ve outlined what you can expect at each stage of your orthopaedic consultation and treatment journey.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, our team is always available — simply call, WhatsApp, or speak to our staff at reception.

01 – Initial Consultation

Whether you come directly to us or are referred, your first step will be a consultation with one of our orthopaedic specialists.

Here, we’ll take time to understand your medical history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. This ensures your treatment plan is built around your individual needs.

02 – Tests and Scans

Depending on your condition, your consultant may recommend diagnostic tests such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, or blood tests.

These are reviewed quickly by our specialist team, so we can provide a clear diagnosis without long waiting times. By completing tests here in Eldoret, you avoid delays and extra referrals.

03 – Treatment

Once a diagnosis is confirmed, your consultant will recommend the most suitable treatment plan. This may involve lifestyle advice, medication, physiotherapy, or surgery if required.

If surgery is needed, you will be fully guided on:

  • When to stop eating or drinking before your procedure

  • Which medicines to continue or pause

  • When and where to arrive at the hospital

  • How long you may need to stay in hospital

  • What recovery will involve and how we’ll support you

Our team will make sure you and your family feel prepared and confident every step of the way.

04 – Follow Up & Ongoing Care

Your care doesn’t stop after treatment. Our consultants work alongside physiotherapists, dieticians, and rehabilitation specialists to support your recovery.

With regular follow-ups and a clear aftercare plan, you’ll have the reassurance of ongoing support here in Eldoret whenever you need it.
